Our History

Established in 1982, Ahuja Residency is one of India's leading providers of quality guest houses, corporate housing and serviced apartments.

Guesthouses: We currently operate guesthouses in Golf Links and Defence Colony in Delhi, DLF Phase-II in Gurgaon and in Kalyani Nagar, Pune. Our properties have been recommended by several travel books including Fodor's and Special Places to Stay: India. Sawday's Special Places to Stay: India writes about one of our properties "Wonderful - a peaceful oasis in the seething, sometimes overwhelming, capital"

Corporate Residences: We help corporates in identifying, setting up, furnishing and operating dedicated guesthouses for their employees. We currently operate guesthouses for companies such as Microsoft, Nokia Siemens Networks, Nestle, General Motors, NDS (a part of News Corp. group) and Event Knowledge Services (EKS).

Service Apartments: We manage several service apartments at the following locations:

Delhi - in Defence Colony, Golf Links, Panchsheel Park and Gitanjali Enclave
Noida - in Sector 44
Gurgaon - in various condominium complexes

In August 2009, we shall be opening 25 apartments in Kalyani Nagar in Pune. Work is also underway to expand to Mumbai and Hyderabad in the next calender year.

In all, we currently manage over 100 properties and the total number of rooms under our management are over 400.

Management

Mrs. Rashmi Ahuja, Chairperson
One of the pioneers in introducing high-quality, affordable accommodation in New Delhi, she is the founder and guiding force behind the Ahuja Residency. With over 25 years of experience in managing Guest Houses, Mrs. Ahuja's remains extremely involved with the management of the properties, with her emphasis on guest relationship management and on ensuring guest satisfaction.



Mr. Jaideep Ahuja, Executive Director
After completing his Masters of Management from the London School of Economics (LSE), Jaideep spent three years with Accenture, the world's leading management and technology consulting firm. He then joined the company in 2001 and expanded its operations into Gurgaon and Noida. He is currently responsible for Marketing & Business Development at Ahuja Residency.



Mr. Suresh Khanna, President
Mr. Khanna has over 30 years of managerial experience in Sales & Marketing, and has held various senior positions with Godfrey Philips India Ltd., from where he retired recently as General Manager - Training. Mr. Khanna has travelled extensively throughout his career and brings with him a deep understanding of the requirements of the corporate traveller.



Col (Retd) SK Tugnait, GM Operations
After having served the Indian Army, Col Tugnait has been in Operations and administration departments in the corporate Sector. He leads a dedicated and well trained team to ensure comfortable stay for our esteemed customers.



Mr. Suresh Agarwal, CFO
A merit holder in the CA examination, Suresh worked for the Container Corporation of India before setting up his own Accountancy Firm. Suresh not only manages the firms Accounts but also advises on future growth projects.
